- The longest day of the year (Civil Morning Twilight to Civil Evening Twilight*) is 6 hours and 16 minutes longer than the shortest day (16 hrs
25 min vs 10 hrs 9 min).
-  If the changes were linear, days (twilight to twilight) would lengthen or shorten at the rate of 2 minutes and 4 seconds per day.  In fact,
the greatest daylight change occurs between 3/21 and 4/21 with an average daily increase of 2 minutes and 54 seconds (the period
following the Vernal Equinox). The least amount of change occurs between 11/21 and 12/21 with an average daily decrease of 56 seconds
(the period leading up to the Winter Solstice).
- If the changes were linear, morning twilight would change by 1 minute and 2 seconds per day (the period following the Vernal Equinox).  In
fact, the greatest morning twilight change occurs between 3/21 and 4/21 with twilight occurring an average of 1 minute 45 seconds earlier
each morning.  The least amount of change in morning twilight occurs between 12/21 and 01/21 with twilight occurring an average of
2 seconds later (the period following the Winter Solstice).
- Although the least amount of change for all of the above occurs around the Winter Solstice, the greatest amount of changes never occurs
around the Summer Solstice.

There are several conclusion one might draw from these facts:
- The earth is spinning off it's axis and we're all going to die
- Greenhouse gases and global warming are probably causing these anomalies
- Whoever designed this universe must have been some kind of math wiz to get something this seemingly random to repeat

* During civil twilight it is still light enough to carry on most outdoor activities.  You may see a few bright stars or planets in the sky. It ends
(or begins) when the sun is about 6 degrees below the horizon.
